News Center     STA Actively Dedicated to Beijing Games ssued Time : Zhang Lijuan  A make-up team with more than 700 specialists from Shanghai Theatre Academy led by Prof. Xu Jiahua did make-up and styling for over 10,000 actors and actresses who performed for the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics. Their work turned very successful. Prof. Xu is head of STA Costume & Make-up Teaching & Research Office. In a highly confidential manner, they designed a series of adornments to match the Olympic Games. The make-up was conducted in flow line, with specific work division among the team members, such as putting on the base, the rouge, the eye shadow, and the ornamental articles. Meanwhile, the school also selected over 70 student dancers majoring respectively in Chinese classical dance, folk dance, ballet and international dance for the closing ceremony of the Games. All those selected worked very hard in the rehearsal to render a perfect conclusion for the Beijing Games.
