News Center     Ms. Zhou Hong, an Outstanding Role in “Chinese Storytelling andBallad Singing Performance Event” ssued Time : Zhang Lijuan 张丽娟 Zhou Hong, an actress of Shanghai Pingtan Troupe, also a follower of "Li School" (Li tune), one of major music style of Pingtan opera, has become an outstanding role in “Chinese Storytelling and Ballad Singing Performance Event”. Zhou was taught by the famous Pingtan artist Yu Hongxian and has received many awards including Acting Excellence in China Pingtan Art Festival, First Prize in Pingtan Competition, and 5th Chinese Storytelling and Ballad Singing Peony Awards. She has also visited Sweden, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan region to perform Pingtan opera and was honored Art Achievement Prize by Canadian Chinese Artists Center.
