Torch Relay
ssued Time :
The moment when dauntless mountaineers bearing the Olympic torches reached the top of Mount Everest, they redefined the elevation of mankind by standing at the apex of the world.
Mount Everest is a measure and monument for humanity's self challenge of its own boundaries of strength. Of the "three poles" on the earth, Mount Everest was the last "pole" attained by the human creature after the successful expedition to the remote North and South poles. This has evidenced the intimidating difficulty in climbing it.
When the figures reduced to black points against the backdrop of the lofty and massive mountain were advancing slowly but steadfastly and when they were crossing the perilous and freezing narrow passages comprising of snow, ice and rocks right on the brink of the abyss just like wire-walking, the spectators had their heart in the mouth, more breathless than the climbers themselves. Everyone witnessing the scene had their heart pulled by the movements and no one, being touched by the intrepidity and strength exhibited, could reject the emotion surge.
