News Center     Democracy: NPC & CPPCC suggestions have been valued ssued Time : Li Rongzhang  The work on written opinions or proposals of NPC and CPPCC has been effective. 95 written opinions were received from people's representatives, of which 92 should be handled by various agencies of the district government. Due to their hard work, now 71.7% of the issues covered by such opinions have been resolved or are being resolved, 13% have been taken into implementation plans, and 12% are kept for reference. Consultation with the representatives showed that their satisfaction towards the results of their opinions was 96.3% and that towards the attitude of the government reached 100%. CPPCC committee members, various democratic parties, the Association of Industry and Commerce and relevant civil organizations have brought into full play CPPCC's functions in concerting efforts, coordinating relationships, providing ideas & suggestions and serving the overall interests. Of the 282 proposals submitted by CPPCC, 232 have been adopted and 168 are being settled or resolved, which accounted for 72.4% of the total; 19 have been incorporated in to the planning for settlement, a percentage of 8.2%.
