Major Responsibility

It is mainly responsible for working out education development program and annual planning according to regional economy and social development planning. It is mainly responsible for managing basic education, occupational education, adult education, special education, community education and non-credit education; giving qualification accreditation for middle school or elementary school teachers and managing teachers qualification appraisal and appointment system and faculty employment system as well as teacher group; drafting budget and settled account for educational expenditure and supervising and managing educational expenditure of schools and other educational organizations; organizing education and research in the district and facilitating educational and teaching reform; managing the enrollment of primary, secondary and vocational schools and kindergartens and reviewing and approving the setting, cancellation and modification of public and private-funded schools (restructuring); undertaking administrative reconsideration and response to administrative litigation; fulfilling other assignments from district Party committee and district government.
