Major Responsibility

Sub-Bureau of Jing¡¯an District of Shanghai Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce is a functional department of district government with the responsibility for market supervision and management and administrative law enforcement. It is mainly responsible for the registration of industrial and commercial enterprises and social organization and individuals engaged in business operation and the supervision and management for the registered items; supervising and inspecting the business transactions by law; supervising and managing consumable market, production materials market by law and participating in the supervision and management for operative factor market and futures market; investigating and publishing the acts infringing trademark, protecting exclusive right to use registered trademark and supervising, managing and instructing the use and print of trademark by law; validating the qualification of advertising business and supervising and managing the advertising business in the district by law; supervising and managing the business activities of individual enterprises and enterprises of individual partnership by law; supervising and managing the economic contracts.
