Major Responsibility

It is mainly responsible for implementing guidelines, policies, laws and regulations regarding work of statistics and putting into effect the unified basic statistics system in the district; establishing and improving the statistics indictor system, deciding methods of statistical survey and implementing national economy accountancy system according to the actual situation of JingˇŻan District; conducting statistics, monitoring, forecast and comprehensive analysis on the operation of national economy, science and technology and social development to regularly offer completed statistics to district Party committee, district government and relevant departments and give suggestions about policy-making; regularly releasing statistics; carrying out mass surveys at all levels with relevant departments; instructing fundamental management statistics and examining and assessing the quality of statistics; planning and managing the construction of statistics informationization and statistics database system in the district; reviewing and approving the statistical surveys of departments; carrying out education and training on statistics; inspecting and handling statistics violence cases by law.
