Major Responsibility

Foreign Affairs Office of Jing¡¯an People¡¯s District is mainly responsible for the foreign affairs in the district. Foreign Affairs Office of Jing¡¯an District and Economic and Trade Commission of Jing¡¯an District work together. Foreign Affairs Office of Jing¡¯an District has Foreign Affairs Division. It contains the following functions: organizing the communication with other friendship cities and districts; giving instructions to the reception of foreign affairs; arranging leaders of Jing¡¯an District to participate in foreign affairs; working out the planning of foreign affairs and trade or non-trade visits; conducting centralized management for going abroad on business and go to HK and Macao on business, reviewing the qualification of personnel and preparing the reports to be submitted; making preparations for the visits and reporting of leaders of district; handling procedures of invitation and conducting management; handling and assisting to handle the important foreign-related affairs in the district; managing the foreign personnel in the district and commending and rewarding the foreign friendly personnel in concert with relevant departments.
