Major Responsibility

It is mainly responsible for managing work safety in a comprehensive way, instructing and coordinating the departments and industries in the district to implement the guidelines, policies, laws, regulations and rules regarding work safety; supervising and inspecting the industries and manufacturing operations for work safety and executing administrative law enforcement against the acts breaching laws, regulations and rules regarding work safety; organizing and coordinating for the investigation and treatment of accidents; conducting education and training regarding work safety and supervising and managing the social intermediary agencies for work safety; carrying out the work safety promotion campaigns; inspecting the work safety facilities for the new construction, reconstruction and construction expansion projects according to relevant laws and discipline; supervising and managing the work for the safety of hazardous chemicals; accepting and handling the letters and visits regarding labor protection and work safety.
